We are a friendly amateur society who work hard to stage quality shows in the South West London area. Unfortunately the high standards we strive to maintain in our productions are achieved at ever-increasing financial cost, which Box Office receipts no longer fully cover.

You can support WLOS, join in our social activities and get priority information about productions by becoming an Associate Member for a minimum of £10 a year. You get a regular newsletter, annual supper & concert, and invitations to other social events. Why not contact us to find out more details and support the Arts in Wimbledon!

Well done to everyone who auditioned on Sunday and Monday. The standard was higher than ever and the panel had their work cut out for them! The show has now been cast, congratulations to those successful; we know this show is going to be fabulous!

Could 2012 be the year you ‘tread the boards’?

Why not make a New Year’s resolution and decide to give performing a go? WLOS is a very friendly society and we are always pleased to welcome new members. Why not come along to a rehearsal and see what you think? All new members do have to audition to be accepted into the company, but that is not until they have attended at least 2 rehearsals and it is a simple singing audition.

Auditions for principal roles in our next production are on 15 January (callbacks on the next day). For more information, or to download the audition pieces, please visit the auditions page. Don’t forget to contact our Auditions Secretary (Amanda Stewart) by 11 January with your audition form so that you can be allocated an audition time.

Christmas Carolling

On Sunday WLOS was out in force to sing Christmas Carols in Wimbledon Village. Here are some pictures to get you in a festive mood! Come and see us sing again in Wimbledon Station on Tuesday at 6.30pm and later at the Hand in Hand pub.
