‘A Little of What You Fancy’ is a loving recreation of an Edwardian Music Hall, complete with ebullient Chairman and audience participation in the wonderfully entertaining songs.  Music Halls were variety shows and were at the height of their popularity during the Victorian and Edwardian eras.  Some of the traditional Music Hall content was adapted to showcase the particular singing talents of Wimbledon Light Opera Society but the spirit remained true to the original.

Perhaps the way many people might have encountered Music Hall is through the TV programme ‘The Good Old Days’ with Chairman Leonard Sachs.  As in the programme, our audience were also invited to attend in the apparel of the period if they wished.
