We’re absolutely thrilled by the response to our Come From Away auditions — all the original slots were snapped up as of end of day Monday 9th. See below for waiting list information.

 

Thank you to everyone who’s thrown their hat in the ring — we’re buzzing to see you at auditions. 

 

That said, the audition form is still open for additional slots to prioritise our search for: 

​

• Black female-presenting actors

• Black male-presenting actors

• Male-presenting actors of Middle Eastern or South Asian heritage

 

​We are committed to creating a cast that authentically represents the global community at the heart of this remarkable show. So please do check out our audition notice below and submit an application!

 

Everyone else who applies by Saturday 14th will join the waiting list. We're working hard behind the scenes to open up even more audition slots, but we recommend you apply sooner rather than later.

Meet our creative team for COME FROM AWAY 


🌎 ANGELA DANIEL (Director)
Angela is thrilled to be directing this heart-warming and multi-award winning show for WLOS. She has been a member of the society for 16 years (serving on the WLOS committee for most of them) and has previously directed THE WIZARD OF OZ, LEND ME A TENOR, CURTAINS (2012), FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, HMS PINAFORE and also a couple of Cabarets for the group.

🌍 GARETH ALBER (Musical Director)
Gareth is a trained vocal coach teaching both privately and at Sylvia Young Theatre School, as well as being a qualified vocal massage therapist. He has been active on South London and Surrey musical theatre circuits for many years, most recently as MD for RENT with Hinchley Manor Operatic Society and THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK with Epsom Players, as well as the last two PLOS pantomimes, CINDERELLA in 2022 and ALICE IN PANTOLAND in 2023.

🌎 KIM FINDLAY (Choreographer)
Kim is excited to be back as choreographer for WLOS and working on such a brilliant show. She last choreographed CURTAINS for WLOS but other credits include TOP HAT, COPACABANA, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, MADE IN DAGENHAM and MY FAIR LADY. She also comes from away (but has lost her accent…)

🌍 ALICE HUDSON SHEAF (Producer)
Alice has been a member of WLOS since the year 2000, performing in 28 shows, and as Secretary on the Committee for 8 years. She was so excited about WLOS performing COME FROM AWAY she really wanted to be involved, and can’t wait to collaborate with such a great team to bring this brilliant show to the stage.
